Work Experience Applications for 2024 HAVE CLOSED
Our Work Experience program runs from February – December 2024, working at the QMF Inc office every Friday, plus additional time on event days. We provide an opportunity to improve your knowledge and learn new skills while gaining real-life, hands-on experience in the music industry. Working closely with our team, some of the things you could learn include how to:
- plan for and deliver various youth events including the Foot-in-theDoor Competition at QMF
- set up and operate a sound and lighting system
- stage manage a performance and work with artists to put on a sucessful show
- communicate with customers and respond to enquiries
- make an advertising plan and use social media to promote your event
- work with others as part of a committee and run sucessful meetings
Applications for work experience opportunities in 2025 will open after the festival.
